    Are you looking for financing to start or grow your small business? Attend this workshop provided by experts to learn more about your financing options. This is a joint presentation by Ascent Funding (formerly known as the Albina Opportunities Corporation) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Capital Access Team. Edward Jones from Ascent Funding has over a decade of banking and commercial lending experience at various institutions, including US Bank, West Coast Bank, and credit unions. Noah Brockman from SBDC leads OSBDCN's Capital Access Team (CAT), the group that provides strategic business advising to SBDC clients statewide on access to capital, business planning, and financial analysis. This program is free and open to the public; no registration is required.

  3. Beyond the Pages of the Script

    Explore the meaning of welcoming with Beaverton Civic Theatre, through select scenes from the comedy "You Can't Take It With You," presenting the awkward situation of meeting another family for the first time. Scenes will be followed by the musical comedy performance of "You Do Speak English, Don't You?," which highlights the challenges international husband and wife Mark and Helena Greathouse have experienced as a Czech-American couple.     Toddlers will enjoy this interactive storytime that includes books, action songs, rhymes, flannelboard stories and other fun activities that encourage a love of reading books! There is also a simple craft to do or take home and enjoy at the end of each storytime. Limited to the first 50 people. Ages 2-3.
