The Beaverton City Library has many volunteer internship opportunities throughout the year. Volunteer interns provide a valuable service to the Library, often times leading programs, working directly with patrons, supervising teen volunteers and more.

Volunteer internships are generally 10 – 12 weeks in length with interns contributing 10 – 20 hours per week. We have opportunities for Library school students as well as high school and under-grad students.

Our summer internship positions have been filled.  We will post more opportunities in late fall. 
 

Beaverton City Library does not offer paid internships.

My internship experience with Beaverton City Library was very rewarding. As a library student I gained valuable practical experience working in a library and met a lot of wonderful, talented people.
