Adult Events and Classes
The Beaverton City Library offers a wide range of
services and materials for adults of all ages. We seek to offer lifelong learning and recreational support and meet the need for general information topics, as well as support the pursuit of personal interests for enjoyment including hobbies and entertainment.

Services
Reference, informational assistance and reader’s advisory services are provided in-person and by telephone during all open hours as well as online through L-Net, the statewide live chat. Text-a-librarian service is also available: text your question to 66746, including the word wccls in your message.
Regularly scheduled programs include job-hunting workshops, computer-related classes, a book discussion group and a movie series. A variety of other adult-focused programs are offered throughout the year.
Library patrons have access to a number of paid subscription databases containing online magazines, journals, and much more through our membership in the Washington County Library System.
