Welcome 2012-13 TLC Members!

What it is:
The teen library council offers teens in grades 6–12 the opportunity to make a positive difference in our community and have input in the way the library serves teens.

The council meets the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the main library.  Meeting attendance and participation in events are mandatory.

Here's some of the stuff you'll do: 

• Plan, promote, and help out with teen & children's library programs.
• Attend monthly TLC meetings
• Help judge writing & art contests
• Recommend books, movies, music & video games
• Promote the library to your peers
• Give back by helping out with community outreach projects.

You'll Gain:

• Volunteer credit
• Skills and experience (this looks great on a college or job application!)
• New friends
