2012 WCCLS Teen Summer Reading Art Contest
This is your chance to see your original artwork featured on Washington County's Teen Summer Reading promotional materials! Submit up to two pieces of art at the Beaverton City Library (main, branch, or your local WCCLS library) between January 3 and February 29, 2012. You could win a $150 Powell's Books gift card and have your art seen around the county! Anti-Valentine's Party
Tuesday, February 14th
7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Whether unrequited love is getting you down, you want to advertise your independence, or you just want to exercise that contrarian spirit against a "Hallmark Holiday," We've got the ticket for you! We'll be listening to "un-love" broken heart songs, making anti-Valentine's crafts, 'redesigning' romance book covers, and more! (Those happily in love are also invited - it's for fun, not spite!) No registration required!
Otakugumi (Anime) Club (Monthly)
Otakugumi Club meetings are THE library events for Anime and Manga lovers! Enjoy Japanese candies, see great anime movies and chat it up with fellow fanatics on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of every month from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Family Movie Matinee (Monthly)
Looking for a great new DVD release on the big screen that you wouldn't be ashamed to bring your brothers, sisters, or even parents to? Watch this spot for movie hints! All ages welcome! Children under 10 must be accompanied.
