The Volunteer Program

Library lobby

Our volunteer program is essential to the daily operation of the Library with over 200 volunteers contributing over 15,000 hours of their time and talents each year. Library volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and their contribution to the Library community is immeasurable – assisting in circulation, reference, computers, children’s and teen services, processing, interlibrary loans, mending and other special projects.

The Basics: We need volunteers to be 14 years or older and work a minimum of two consecutive hours each week for at least three months.

    • Pick one up at the General Information or Circulation desk
