Interlibrary Loan

About Interlibrary Loan System

Interlibrary Loan is a service that allows Beaverton City Library patrons to obtain materials that are not available through Washington County libraries. We borrow from libraries all over the United States using the WorldCat database. We reciprocate by lending our materials outside of the Washington County library system.

Interlibrary Loan holds are available for pickup at the Main Library only at this time in order to minimize transit delays and give patrons as much time as possible with materials borrowed from outside our system.  Make an appointment or drop in at the Main library during BCL To Go hours to pick up your Beaverton City Library ILLs.

How to Request

Please note: there is a limit of 5 requests in process per person.

Submit Interlibrary Loan Request Online (First step is to choose a library pickup location from the drop down menu; then you will be routed to WorldCat where you can search for items.)
