Read. Listen. Learn.

  • Read: Read anything you want! Read to yourself or to someone else. (If your child is not reading on their own, you can count the time someone reads to them.)
  • Listen: Audiobooks, TumbleBooks, and being read to count.
  • Learn: Count time participating in storytimes and other library programs and the time you spend doing family activities together.

Keep track of the time you read, listen, and learn with a reading log from the library, or make your own log.

Key Dates

  • June 1: Start reading, listening, and learning!
  • July 5: First day to pick your free book
  • August 15: Last day to pick your free book
