Come learn how to put a new spin on old favorites and identify ways to integrate language and literacy skills into a musical experience with the children in your care and education programs. Language and literacy development is essential for children of all ages and backgrounds. Come and learn how to encourage language and literacy development for the children in your program by focusing on the Five Literacy Practices (talking, reading, writing, singing and playing) identified and adapted from the Every Child Ready to Read curriculum available through your local library.
