eAccess Cards

How do I get an eAccess card?

You can apply for an eAccess card online or at the library. The only requirement is a valid Washington County address.

What can I do with my eAccess card?

Your eAccess Card allows you to access the free electronic resources available from Washington County Cooperative Library Services. These resources include databases for research and eBook checkout from Overdrive. To access these, visit the WCCLS site. If you are logging in from home or school, you will be asked for your library card number. eBook services and databases also require an additional PIN.

What is my PIN number?

Your PIN number is a number or password assigned to your card when it is made. Typically, it is the last four numbers of your phone number. If you have forgotten your PIN, it can be changed at WCCLS libraries by presenting the card and a photo ID. You can also request that your PIN be e-mailed to the address associated with your card account.

I'd like to check out physical library items. How can I change my card to do that?

Your eAccess Card can be changed to a regular library card by visiting the circulation desk at a Washington County Library. If you are under 16, you will need to have your parent accompany you with a photo ID and proof of current address to have the card access changed. If you are over 16, you can change it yourself by bringing a photo ID and proof of current address to the library.
