Northwest Local Author Fair

About the Author Fair

The 2022 Northwest Local Author Fair will be held on Saturday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the main library location (12375 SW 5th Street).

This year’s Northwest Local author fair will feature 37 local authors and their books and ebooks. This is the largest author fair since we started in 2015, so you don’t want to miss it!

Come to the Main library for the chance to chat with our local authors. We have a great mix of genres, from mysteries and romance to poetry and history, non-fiction as well as fiction titles and books for ALL ages. You’ll find children’s picture books and stories, young adult materials, and many titles for adults.

Please come and support your local authors and pick up some new and diverse reading material!

History of the Northwest Local Author Fair

The Northwest Local Author fair began in 2014 out of a desire to give Beaverton area writers a venue, within their community, to meet the reading public and to network with other local authors. Held in the library’s main floor meeting rooms, this annual fair accommodates 28 authors or more with priority given to residents of Washington County.
