Storytimes and Playgroups

At storytimes children’s staff prepare stories, songs, flannelboards, puppets and crafts to encourage a love of reading and books in young children ages birth through 6 years. Storytimes are fun and an excellent model for reading to children. Parents are a young child’s best teacher and we encourage you to read books with your child everyday.

Playgroups offers children and the adults who care for them a chance to make new friends, share, talk, and enjoy the library in an unstructured environment.
