Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Beaverton City Library!

Our volunteer program has shifted in recent years, and many volunteer roles of the past are no longer available. Take a look at the Volunteer Opportunities page for a list of our currently open volunteer roles. If you see a position that you are interested in and you meet its requirements and schedule, you may complete an application. If you wish to volunteer at The Book Corner, please complete the separate application. New volunteer applications are usually processed within one or two months of submission.

As most of our volunteer positions require a commitment of a 2-hour shift, once a week, for a minimum of three months, the library is unable to accept court-ordered volunteers. For the volunteer program at the library, we are looking for people who want to make a minimum commitment of three months and volunteer two or more hours per week. Most court-mandated volunteering does not fit into this structure. Applicants who are 14 years of age and up will be considered for volunteer positions.
