Why DIY? Self-sufficiency & American Life

Saturday, March 7, 2020

Join us for an Oregon Humanities Conversation Project focused on Do-It-Yourself! Living in a world of ever greater convenience, what motivates us to be makers and doers? How do makerspaces and skills courses affect community engagement and involvement? As we become more self-sufficient, what gets left behind? The conversation will be led by Jennifer Burns Bright, a food educator, recipe developer, and travel writer based in Astoria, Oregon. Free and open to the public; no registration required.
