2025 Teen Poetry Contest

The 2025 teen poetry contest is almost here! This year's contest will take place during National Poetry Month, April 1-30. The form of poetry this year will be free verse. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to submit one of their works for consideration!
The Friends of the Beaverton City Library are sponsoring Powell's gift card prizes - $100, $50, and $25 for both the middle school and high school divisions. Full guidelines and a link to the entry form will be available at the teen writing contests page in mid-March.

Class Visits - Summer Reading

I'd love to visit your class to chat about summer reading and / or books? E-mail me and we can set up a time in May! This year's summer reading theme is "Level Up at Your Library." Keep an eye on our summer reading page for more info to come.
