Welcome to this newsletter highlighting upcoming titles and programs for kids, teens, and adults!

The Murray Scholls Expansion 10th Anniversary Celebration at the Murray Scholls branch is Friday, Apr. 11, starting with a storytime at 10 AM; we’ll have treats all day (while supplies last).

The Friends of the Library's Book & Media Sale at the main library is Apr. 23-27.

The Cartoonists Club

Teen Bite of Reality Fair

Bite of Reality is a financial reality fair that prepares high school students to make sound money-saving and spending decisions that will benefit them for a lifetime. Students complete the budgeting exercise by making everyday purchases and deciding on expenses, which impact their budget in real time, giving them a realistic look at money management. Bring smartphone or tablet to participate. Limited tablets will be available to share if you do not have one. Registration required.

Join us for a special after-hours debut of The Library Show, our first-ever performance/talk show featuring guest performers, including slam poet Alex Dang; performance artist Travis Abels; and author, journalist, and storyteller Brianna Wheeler. It's sure to be a fun-filled evening with an audience raffle and maybe some other surprises in store. Seating limited to 150. Recommended for ages 13 and up. Doors open at 6:30.
