Welcome to this newsletter highlighting upcoming titles and programs for kids, teens, and adults!

Chess/Backgammon Club

Ages 6-12

On guard!  Make your moves in a casual setting with other beginning players.  Basic knowledge of the game is assumed.

Prepare with Pedro!
Monday, July 7
2-3 PM
Grades K-3

Prepare with Pedro is a 45-minute preparedness education program for grades K-3 that teaches kids how to be prepared and take action for either home fires or a local hazard.  Presented by Red Cross.

Parachute Playtime!
Thursday, July 17
12-12:30 PM
Ages 2-8 with family.

Let's have fun together using the parachute!

Grades 6-12

Stop by the Teen Room to work on a low-key art project.  Snacks will be served.
Registration required. 


CREATE: Concrete Leaves
Wednesday, July 23
3-4 PM
Grades 6-12 

Come to the library's front lawn and create a concrete leaf, using leaves for the impressions. You can decorate your concrete leaf after it dries if you choose! 
Registration required.

Join us to learn about the internet, web browsers, and search engines; build skills to navigate the internet and stay safe online; and discover tips and tricks for basic and advanced searching online. Registration required.

 

Trivia Night at Nebulous Taproom

Join us for a library-hosted trivia night at Beaverton’s own Nebulous Taproom! This general knowledge quiz may include categories like geography, sports, current events, pop culture, and more. Teams can be up to six players. Grab your friends and come test your knowledge!

 

Mindfulness Class
