23rd Annual Teen Art Show

The annual teen art show is almost here! We are now accepting pre-registrations of art. Art can be delivered to the main library's Teen Room Thurs., 10/30 - Sat., 11/1. The show opens Wed., 11/5 at 4 p.m. and will remain open through Sun., 11/9. Visit the Teen Art Show site for a flyer with full guidelines.

Teen Scary Short Stories Contest

We are now accepting submissions of scary short stories by students in grades 6-12. Stories can be submitted electronically from now until 10/31. Winning entries will be posted to the writing contest site by 11/14.

One Book, One Beaverton

The library is pleased to announce that "Rough Sleepers" by Tracy Kidder is the selection for our eighth-annual One Book, One Beaverton community-wide reading program! Read the book and join us for related special events in January, including An Evening with Author Tracy Kidder at The Reser on Saturday, Jan. 17 (free, ticketed).
