Seeking the Great Perhaps Banner

Welcome to Seeking the Great Perhaps, a newsletter from Beaverton City Library for teachers and media assistants working with teens and tweens.

Service Update

Upcoming Library Closures: Thursday, Dec. 25; Thursday, Jan. 1; and closing at 5 PM Wednesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Donate cold weather essentials, Dec. 1 through Jan. 31 – part of One Book, One Beaverton 2026, for which the selected title is "Rough Sleepers" by Tracy Kidder. Please donate your new or gently used adult-sized winter coats, gloves, hats, and socks (clean and in good condition). Donated items will be distributed by our partners at Project Homeless Connect and will directly impact the people they serve at the library and in the surrounding Beaverton community. Collection bins will be located at Beaverton City Library Main and Murray Scholls. Thank you for your support!

Library Survey

We're planning for the future, and we want to hear from you! Share your thoughts in Beaverton City Library's strategic planning survey. Your valuable input will help us shape services that truly meet our community's needs and priorities. The survey is open through Wednesday, Dec. 17. If you'd like to participate in a strategic planning focus group in December or January, you can indicate your interest in one of four sessions when you reach the end of the survey. Take the survey: www.BeavertonLibrary.org/Survey
