    Community Crafting for Adults meets every other month to present a new craft to do! Previous skills are not required, but creativity and conversation are highly encouraged! Ages 16 and up. Registration required.

  2. Poetry Reading and Talk with Oregon Book Award Poet Joe Wilkins

    November 16, 2017, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Meeting Room B

    Joe Wilkins will give a reading and talk about his work. Joe Wilkins is the author of a memoir, "The Mountain and the Fathers," and three collections of poems, most recently "When We Were Birds," winner of the 2017 Stafford/Hall Prize in Poetry from the Oregon Book Awards. His debut novel, "And Ever These Bull Mountains," will be published by Little, Brown in early 2019. He lives with his family in western Oregon, where he directs the creative writing program at Linfield College. Free and open to the public; no registration required.

    Preschool Storytime is filled with interactive books, flannelboard stories, music and songs that will help your child develop the skills he/she needs to get ready to read! It also promotes critical and imaginative thinking as well as social skills. A craft at the end reinforces the storytime theme. Ages 3-6.
