    This class shows how to use Pivot Tables, Filtering and how to record a Macro. You must have a good working knowledge of Excel or take the two Beginning level Excel classes before taking this class. Registration required.

    Attention, all book clubs and book lovers! Join us for an evening all abuzz with books. Let our friendly and knowledgeable staff introduce you to your next discussion-worthy book club pick or the great book love of your life. We will be highlighting new and old titles in all genres, fiction and non-fiction. Refresh yourself with tea and treats, and spend some time mingling with other book enthusiasts. We will replenish your to-be-read list, and send you home with a free book! Free and open to the public; no registration is required.

  1. Author Visit: Renee Watson

    Renée Watson is a New York Times bestselling author, educator, and activist. Her young adult novel, "Piecing Me Together" (Bloomsbury, 2017), received a Coretta Scott King Award and Newbery Honor. Her children's picture books and novels for teens have received several awards and international recognition. She has given readings and lectures at many renowned places, including the United Nations, the Library of Congress, and the U.S. Embassy in Japan. The New York Times calls Renée’s writing “charming and evocative.” Renée grew up in Portland and is eager to talk about her work, answer questions, and sign books! All ages.

  1. Toddler Storytime

    Toddlers will enjoy this interactive storytime that includes books, action songs, rhymes, flannelboard stories and other fun activities that encourage a love of reading books! There is also a simple craft to do or take home and enjoy at the end of each storytime. Limited to the first 50 people. Storytime will not meet on Nov. 14.

  2. Toddler Stay & Play

    A playgroup for children ages 12-36 months and their caregivers. Join us for toys, socialization time and bubbles directly after storytime. Families are welcome to join us even If they do not attend storytime. Doors open at 10:45 a.m.

    Preschool Storytime is filled with interactive books, flannelboard stories, music and songs that will help your child develop the skills they need to get ready to read! It also promotes critical and imaginative thinking as well as social skills. A craft at the end reinforces the storytime theme. Storytime will not meet on Nov. 14.
