    November 12, 2019, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Cathy Stanton Conference Room

Join us for the opening reception of the "Ode to Tides" art exhibition! The project, sponsored by The Wetlands Conservancy, is a traveling exhibition that highlights the beauty and ecological significance of Oregon's coastal estuaries and intertidal areas. What makes this exhibition unique is the collaboration between scientists and artists, and the degree to which the artists researched the topic as part of the creative process. What emerged is a collection of more than 200 delightful pieces by 84 artists. The reception will feature a talk about local and coastal birds by photographer and conservationist Roy Lowe. Light refreshments will be provided. Free and open to the public; no registration required. For more information, contact the curator, Sara Vickerman (, or visit The Wetlands Conservancy's website,
