   Events for Teens @ Main
   Events for Adults @ Main
   Murray Scholls Events (for kids, teens and adults including storytimes)

Some days have more programs than can be seen on the calendar, please click Expand All Events or the Show More button to see all of the available events.

  1. Rent Well Tenant Education Classes

    June 8, 2019, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Meeting Room B

    Get yourself on the road to stable housing! Rent Well is a free 3-week series of courses led by housing specialists from Community Action. The classes are designed to help prospective renters who are having difficulty being accepted for rental units because of previous history or barriers such as evictions, criminal convictions and negative credit history. The course will cover tenant rights and responsibilities, budgeting, housing laws and more. Registration required; to register, call 503-726-0821 and leave a message with your name and phone number.

  1. Read to the Dogs

    Children can practice their reading with one of our trained therapy dog volunteers! Call or stop by the Children's Desk to register. Grades 1-5 with adult. Registration required.

    In this special 6-session series, families enjoy stories and activities designed to encourage the development of early learning practices. We will show you how to get your child ready for Kindergarten with music, stories, art, and play! Ages 4-5 with adult. Registration required.
