To view a specific calendar, choose Select a Calendar and pick from the following color-coded categories:

  • Events for Kids @ Main (including Storytimes)
  • Events for Teens @ Main
  • Events for Adults @ Main (including Computer Classes)
  • DAM: Makerspace Events @ Main
  • Murray Scholls Events (for kids, teens and adults including storytimes)

Some days have more programs than can be seen on the calendar, please click Expand All Events or the Show More button to see all of the available events.

By entering the library for these events, you consent to us taking photographs or video of you to be used for library promotional purposes, which include web, print and social media.

Storytime will end with a suggestion for an activity you can do at home with materials you’re likely to have on hand.   4. Virtual Open Mic Poetry

    May 13, 2020, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Online

    Join us to share some poetry via Zoom! Virtual doors will open at 5:30 to welcome participants and give people a chance to make sure Zoom is working properly. Bring a poem from a favorite author or read some of your own poetry. Check in with the hosts 30 minutes before the show, or during the show with the chat feature, and let us know that you would like to read. Each participant will have up to 5 minutes to share with the audience. At the end of the program, we'll have a drawing of participants to receive a gift certificate to The Book Corner. Questions?
