Some days have more programs than can be seen on the calendar, please click Expand All Events or the Show More button to see all of the available events.

Events for Kids

  1. Museum of Natural & Cultural History: Oregon's Dino-Story

    July 20, 2021, All Day

    Join us for a dino-mite adventure! With the museum's video and fun take-home activity kit, families can uncover mysteries about Oregon's dinosaur story, exploring the clues that fossils reveal about our state during the dinosaur age. The Dino-Story kit program is made possible with support from the Institute for Museum and Library Services and The Ford Family Foundation. Supplies will be available at both library locations from July 18 to July 25, while supplies last. Grades K-5.

  1. CREATE: Tie Dye & Fabric Painted Clothes (in person)

    July 20, 2021, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Library South Lawn

    Decorate an item of clothing with tie dye or fabric paint on the library's front lawn! All materials for decorating will be provided. You supply your own piece of clothing for decorating. Masks are optional. Grades 6-12. Registration required.
