1. What do I need to bring?

A face covering and your library card and PIN or photo ID to check out materials, maybe also a tote bag for all of the great materials you’ll check out.

2. Can I pick up my holds?

Yes, but it’s a little different. You’ll ask at the Holds Desk for your items and staff will retrieve them for you. Then you’ll check them out using the self-check machines.

3. I'm picking up holds for a friend/family member, is that OK?

Yes, as long as you bring one of the following: Their library card # and PIN, their physical library card, or their photo ID.

4. Can I browse?

Yes! We are asking folks to limit their visit time to 30 minutes or less, but you can certainly browse and check out items in that time.

5. Can I use the library WiFi?

While you are browsing, feel free to be connected to library Wifi. However, you are not able to sit and use the Wifi to do work/watch videos, etc. To do that, please refer to the Computer Lab.

6. What precautions are being taken to mitigate risk while visiting the library?

• Please maintain 6 feet of distance between yourself and those outside your household while visiting the library. We have installed distancing stickers to remind folks of 6 feet distancing.
• Wear a face covering, staff will also be wearing face coverings. We have free face coverings for kids and adults who want one.
• We are limiting capacity in the building at a time, and limiting visits to 30 minutes or less.
• Items that are returned are quarantined for 24 hours before being checked in and re-shelved.

7. Can I bring my kids along to browse?

Yes, kids are welcome, as always, they do need to stay with their grownups while at the library. Kids over 5 need to wear face coverings. We ask that you maintain 6 feet of distance from those outside your household and limit visits to 30 minutes or less.
