Friends of the Library

About Us


The New Friends of the Beaverton City Library is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes library service in Beaverton by:
 
  • Providing Beaverton City Library with supplemental revenue for materials and services not covered by the library budget. The primary fundraising effort of the Friends is The Book Corner.
  • Strengthening relations between the library and schools, local businesses, and other community organizations.
  • Promoting public awareness of the many resources and services provided by the library.

The Book Corner

                                                   
In 1996, the Friends opened The Book Corner. The store offers a wide variety of high quality used books, videos and other materials for sale at low prices. The Friends also host sales on Amazon.
