Field Trips

The library provides visits and tours for:

  • Schools
  • Preschools
  • Homeschool groups
  • Local area organizations
  • and more!

Please give at least three weeks' notice for any request for a field trip to the library.

Class visits and tours are offered subject to availability of library staff. While we will make every effort to accommodate visits by groups, due to other events, we may not be able to schedule every group who requests a visit. Please note: Groups larger than 30 students may take more time to schedule.

Library Card Applications for Field Trips 

For field trips from K-12 schools not part of Beaverton School District:

Students from schools in Beaverton School District may check out books and access library services with their WCCLS Student Library Card.

Applications must:

  • Be accompanied by proof of the child's home address. Class lists from schools are acceptable proof of address.
  • Be turned in one week before the visit to allow time to prepare the cards. Applications turned in after this deadline will not be processed in time for students to receive their cards on the day they visit.
